1. Your school owns its data

All information in NovaSchool (students, parents, staff, fees, attendance, results, salaries and messages) is entered by the school and belongs to the school. The school controls it and decides how it is used. NovaSoft does not view, use, sell or share school data. It is stored securely only so the school's own users can work with it.

2. Who can see it

Only the school's logged-in users, according to the role the school gives them (owner, principal, accountant, teacher or parent). Parents see only their own children. No school can see another school's data.

3. School's responsibility

The school is responsible for having permission from parents (for students) and from staff to enter their information and to send them WhatsApp messages, and for keeping its logins private.

4. Export and delete

The school can download all its data to Excel at any time and can delete records whenever it wants. When a school closes its account, its data is deleted.

5. Security

NovaSchool uses HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, login limits, role permissions, an activity log and daily backups.

6. Messages

Fee vouchers, receipts, reminders, absence alerts, results and notices are sent only to the numbers the school entered, through the school's own WhatsApp settings.

7. Children

Student information is entered and controlled by the school with the permission of parents. NovaSchool does not collect information directly from children and never shows advertising.

8. Questions

Parents, students and staff should contact their school to see, correct or delete their information.
